It was December of 1993 in Las Vegas, NV when Mark arranged to meet with Mr. Valli after one of Frankie's shows at the Desert Inn Showroom. Seeking Mr. Valli's blessing to portray him onstage, as a live tribute, Mark sang a couple of the big hit songs for Frankie and was granted Mr. Valli's approval and encouragement.
